Getting Started with a Custom Software idea

The list below is a starting list of how to get started with a software idea.

  1. DOES YOUR IDEA ALREADY EXIST?

    1. Has your idea already been developed? If there is an existing solution available, investigate it, see if it meets all your requirements. If there are some requirements missing - perhaps there is an integration module that software developers like us can interface to.

  2. CREATE YOUR WISH LIST

    1. If your idea doesn't exist, write down everything about your idea - we call this your WISH LIST. List everything and anything, even plans that may be years away. The more we can understand about the vision you have for the software, the better. We often suggest using a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel, helps create an action list.

  3. SPEAK TO ADVANTECH SOFTWARE

    1. Speak to software developers like us! We will discuss your idea and sign confidentiality agreements with you. We will also advise on options, technologies that we could use.
